Located at St. Louis, Missouri Washington University was started back in 1853. This private research University hosts students from all the 50 states of US and from 90 countries worldwide. It is well known for the noble laureates it has produced, for the vibrant educational environment it provides and research facilities it gives. There are in total seven graduate and undergraduate schools that let it excel in different academic fields. The campuses of Washington University is located near the cultural center of St. Louis.

Washington University is open to all for visiting. When you go there visit the different campuses and feel the enigma of students out there. At the heart of Washington University is the 169 acre Danforth campus. The building out there specifically features the gothic architecture. Medical Campus is located at the Central Wets end of the city and homes to the different associations related with medicine. Whether its west campus, North campus or South campus, they are spread all over the city and are worth visiting.
Libraries are home to classic collections along with the modern amenities. While in Washington University do head to the University library. It is located at Danforth Campus and welcomes even a visitor with open heart.
The University is not located at any single place. It is spread over 2000 acres of land and amidst the city of St. Louis. You can take buses or cabs to from one campus to another. Apart from different courses offered there, the architectural beauty of the campus are indeed good. Spend time out there and love the way students from different part of world learn at a same campus.
Students at the University are busy with their studies but still when they feel stressed they visit the nearby forest part to relax.
